Membership: In order to complete the membership process we need to collect information about you, your denomination, your church and perhaps, if applicable, where you work. This data is gathered so that we can receive confirmation from your Pastor as to you’re gifts for this work. Further we desire that this site act as a community of Chaplains communicating back and for the with each other, learning from each others challenges and strategies for ministry. To do this we request that each candidate for Community Chaplain fill out a profile that provides contact information and other data that will help you connect with other chaplains. This data will never be sold or shared with people outside Community Chaplains of America without your express permission.
E-mail Newsletters: If you register to receive e-mail newsletters or updates in the future by providing your e-mail address. Any e-mail you receive from Community Chaplains of America will allow you to change your preference or "unsubscribe" from this informational service at any time. Community Chaplains of America (CommChap) was launched in 2007 as a division of Corporate Chaplains of America (CCA) (www.chaplain.org ) with the goal of empowering people to make a difference in the lives of hurting people everywhere.
The empowerment approach was built from the foundation of chaplain training utilized by Corporate Chaplains of America since 1996 providing full time corporate chaplains in workplaces across the U.S. The training, mission, and vision have a focused goal - "to build caring relationships with the hope of gaining permission to share the life changing Good News of Jesus Christ in a non-threatening manner." In striving to fulfill this mission, we have seen more than 19,000 people make life-changing faith decisions.
Our desire for Community Chaplains of America is to see these life-changing decisions multiplied and ministry extended throughout neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, and essentially everywhere we encounter hurting people.
Our mission is to build caring relationships with the hope of gaining permission to
share the life changing Good News of Jesus Christ in a non-threatening manner.
We are called to have thousands of chaplains serving millions of people.
The following is a brief summary of the doctrinal core beliefs of Community Chaplains of America. It is not intended to be an exhaustive systematic theology but a framework that we can mutually agree upon.
About the Bible: We believe that the Bible as originally written is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
About God: We believe that there is one and only one living and true God; that He eternally exists as three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; that all three are eternally equal in nature, attributes and perfection.
About Jesus: We believe Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit by the virgin Mary, lived a physical life on this earth and, being fully God and fully man, was without sin.
About Salvation: We believe that all mankind sins and as such, no one has the ability to save themselves by doing good deeds or by being a ‘good person’. It is only through accepting Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord that one can receive eternal life in Heaven. Salvation is available to anyone who acknowledges by faith that Jesus Christ died on the cross for their sins, rose bodily from the grave, and asks Him to forgive them of their sins and save their soul.
About Ministry: We believe that, as Christians, it is a responsibility, a duty and a joy to spread the Word of God to all who will listen.

Q – Why should I purchase this kit and go through this training?
The Community Chaplains training is specifically designed to equip laypeople with the basic care giving skills to make a difference in the lives of hurting people.
Additionally, it may serve as a great continuing education item for the experienced chaplain serving in hospital settings, hospice centers or virtually anywhere a
chaplain may provide help.
Q – I have been through the Community Chaplain training and I would like to order logo clothing items. How do I do that?

Q – What are the education and experience requirements necessary to become a Community Chaplain, and then how am I placed?
Community Chaplains of America is not a placement agency and does not offer employment opportunities. No education or experience requirements are necessary.
The program is designed to equip those who are connected with Christ and care about people to reach out with the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
Q – What kind of certification does this program provide?
Community Chaplains of America is not a certifying or credentialing agency. Our goal is to offer inspiration, basic training, and community connection for
people who desire to serve and care for others.
Q – Are there products available for me to purchase upon completion of the program? ie. Identification badge, business (calling) cards, voicemail, email?
Yes there are products available and more to come very soon. A Community Chaplain logo lanyard is provided to utilize for identification purposes in hospitals,
jails, and other venues as care is offered in the community.
Q – What happens after I complete the course work? Is there any continuing education?
We invite you to visit the Community Chaplains website for inspirational blog entries from experienced chaplains. Additional continuing education items are under continual development.
Q – Will I be able to connect with other Community Chaplains who have completed this program?
Yes – an online Community Chaplain forum is coming soon where you will be able to post questions, seek Godly advice, and learn from the experience of other chaplains.
In addition, we encourage a team approach to chaplain care where mutual accountability can occur.
Q – I have been a Gold member for a couple of years. I cannot log in and the website is new. Am I still active? Can I renew my
“commissioned” chaplain ID badge?
The Community Chaplains of America strategy is in the midst of a transition to a new and improved approach. Gold membership is no longer included in this process.
However, chaplain logo identification badges are still available and new login processes will soon be available.
Q – Can I have my picture on my identification badge?
Yes the picture can be added by emailing a picture to: customerservice@lanphierpress.com.
Q – I have completed a portion of the downloadable audio training components for the program. I would like to finish, but
I can no longer purchase the product or finish the reviews. What should I do?
